Turning off comments on specific posts
Taking away the comments from specific posts on Instagram is something that can help you protect your mental health and avoid toxic energy on the platform. Once you’ve turned off the comments from a post, you’ll see them disappear from the bottom right corner of the reel. However, you can still comment on the post when it is re-shared. You can also choose to turn on the comments by tapping the menu button at the top right corner of the post.
Then, you can start a new comment, if you want. Then, you’ll have to tap “Reply” to reply to the comment.
Turn off Commenting
